The Cake College

The Cake College runs fun and informal classes from our farmhouse kitchen in Berkshire.

We run day courses, evening courses, 2 day wedding cake courses, and can also do private classes for events such as hen parties or baby showers. During the holidays, we run children’s courses too.

All of our classes are taught by professional cake decorators, who have many years of professional cake decorating experience, and who have won awards including Gold and Silver awards at Cake International. And (we think more importantly), they are all lovely and will help you feel at ease, even if you’ve no cake decorating experience whatsoever.

We believe that your learning environment is just as important as the tutor and the cakes you will produce during the class. Our classroom is a huge light and airy kitchen in a Grade II* Georgian farmhouse. On a cold day you will be welcomed with a warm Aga and a mug of something nice, and on a warm day you can sit with the French doors open and look across the fields for inspiration.

We are close to the Hampshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire borders, so easily accessible for these counties. Plenty of off street parking is available.

Our classes are always relaxed, but you will be amazed at what you can produce with a little bit of guidance.
